Art Day – Creative Art Inspired by the Islamic Calendar

Art Day for Children

A New Creative Journey for Young Minds

Banbury Madni Masjid and Umar Education & Welfare Centre are delighted to introduce Art Day, an exciting new project designed to inspire creativity, imagination, and learning through art. This unique programme combines artistic expression with Islamic education, encouraging participants to explore important events, months, and themes from the Islamic calendar through creative activities.

Art is a powerful way for children and young people to learn, reflect, and express themselves. Through painting, drawing, colouring, crafts, and themed projects, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of Islamic history and traditions while developing valuable artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether your child loves art or simply enjoys being creative, Art Day provides a wonderful opportunity to learn, create, and grow alongside others in the community.

Creative Learning Through the Islamic Calendar

Each session will focus on themes inspired by significant events and months within the Islamic calendar. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics in a creative and engaging way while producing artwork that reflects their learning and understanding.

    Activities may include:

  • Islamic-themed arts and crafts
  • Creative painting and drawing projects
  • Learning about important Islamic months and occasions
  • Developing artistic and creative skills
  • Teamwork and collaborative projects
  • Fun educational activities in a welcoming environment

The programme aims to help children connect with Islamic values while encouraging self-expression and confidence.

Building Confidence Through Creativity

Creative activities help children improve concentration, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. Art Day provides a positive space where participants can express their ideas, develop new talents, and build friendships with others who share similar interests.

The sessions are designed to be enjoyable, educational, and suitable for a range of ages and artistic abilities.
