Banbury Madni Masjid presents a full recital of Dalail al-Khayrat, offering the local Muslim community an opportunity to come together for remembrance, salawat, and spiritual reflection.
The recital will take place across three Banbury mosques on separate dates, giving attendees several opportunities to join this special gathering. The event is centred around the recitation of Dalail al-Khayrat, a well-known collection of prayers and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Dalail al-Khayrat is a renowned collection of salawat and supplications upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It has been recited by Muslims across generations as a means of expressing love, respect, and devotion to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
The collection is traditionally read individually or in gatherings, and many Muslims value it as part of their regular spiritual practice. A full recital provides an opportunity to participate in collective remembrance and spend time in an atmosphere centred on dhikr and sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ.
Attendees can expect a spiritually focused gathering built around the recitation of Dalail al-Khayrat. The event offers a calm and respectful environment where members of the community can sit together and take part in collective remembrance.
Those who are already familiar with Dalail al-Khayrat may appreciate the opportunity to join a complete recital, while those attending for the first time can experience this traditional form of devotional recitation within a mosque setting.
The recital will be held at Madni Masjid, Makkah Masjid, and Al-Aqsa Masjid, allowing the programme to take place across different parts of the Banbury Muslim community.
Holding the recital at three mosques also gives more people an opportunity to attend a date and location that may be convenient for them. Each gathering begins at 5:00 PM.
Gatherings of dhikr and salawat provide Muslims with an opportunity to step away from daily routines and dedicate time to remembrance of Allah and sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The Full Recital of Dalail al-Khayrat in Banbury is intended to bring the community together in a peaceful setting focused on worship, reflection, and spiritual connection.
