Jummah is a special gift from Allah ﷻ to the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is a day filled with mercy, blessings, and countless opportunities to earn reward. Every week, Muslims gather in the mosque to remember Allah, listen to the khutbah, and perform the blessed Friday prayer.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

As believers, we should strive to increase our worship, remembrance, and charitable giving on this blessed day. Supporting your mosque and helping your community through regular Friday donations, it's a simple way to gain continuous rewards.
Never miss the opportunity to give on a blessed Friday. By automating your weekly donation, you can consistently support those in need and turn every Jummah into an opportunity for ongoing reward for you and your family, In shā’ Allāh.
Allah ﷻ says in the Noble Qur'an:
"O you who believe! When the call for prayer is made on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off your business. That is better for you if only you knew."
(Qur'an 62:9)
Jummah is not only a weekly congregational prayer but a day of spiritual renewal. It reminds us to pause from our worldly affairs and reconnect with our Creator.
The blessings of this day extend beyond the prayer itself. It is a time for reflection, repentance, supplication, and good deeds.
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
"Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, wears his best clothes, applies perfume if available, attends the mosque and listens attentively to the khutbah, will have his sins forgiven between that Friday and the next."
(al-Bukhari)
Because of its immense virtues, Muslims are encouraged to increase their acts of worship and charity throughout the day.
Giving charity is one of the most beloved actions in Islam. When combined with the blessings of Jummah, the rewards become even greater.
Your Friday donation helps sustain the work of Banbury Madni Masjid while allowing you to benefit from the virtues of giving on this blessed day. Whether your contribution is large or small, Allah rewards every sincere act of generosity.
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
"Charity does not decrease wealth."

Make Friday a habit of giving and invest in rewards that continue long after this life.
May Allah ﷻ accept our worship, charity, and good deeds, and allow us to benefit from the countless blessings of Jummah Ameen.
