The first As’Sunnah Academy Staff Training Day will focus on safeguarding. Creating a secure learning environment requires staff members to have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and know how to respond when concerns arise.
Safeguarding training is an important part of working with children and young people. It helps staff develop greater awareness of potential risks, understand appropriate professional boundaries and follow the correct procedures when reporting or responding to concerns.
The session will help reinforce the importance of maintaining a culture where the safety and welfare of every child remain a priority. Staff will have an opportunity to refresh their knowledge, strengthen their understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and improve confidence in responding appropriately to different situations.

The second training day will focus on First Aid Training. Accidents and medical emergencies can happen unexpectedly, making basic first aid knowledge an essential skill for those working in educational and community settings.
This training session will support staff in developing the knowledge and confidence needed to respond appropriately when immediate assistance may be required. Being prepared can make an important difference during an emergency while professional medical assistance is being arranged.
