Join us for a dedicated Ladies Health Checks and Menopause session in Banbury at Al-Aqsa Centre. This community health session will focus on menopause awareness, blood pressure checks, and general women’s health in a supportive and welcoming environment.
The session will be led by Sarah Lourpenco, Clinical Director at Banbury Alliance PCN and GP Partner at Hightown Surgery. It is designed to give women an opportunity to learn more about important health topics and access simple health checks within the local community.
This session has been organised to support women in the Banbury community with useful health information and access to basic checks. The event will include discussion around menopause, along with blood pressure checks and general health awareness.
Menopause can bring a range of physical and emotional changes, and having access to clear, reliable information can help women better understand what to expect and when to seek further support. This session offers an opportunity to ask questions, learn more, and speak with an experienced healthcare professional.
Attendees can expect a friendly and informative session focused on practical women’s health topics. The event will include information around menopause and the importance of monitoring blood pressure as part of general health care.
The session also provides a valuable opportunity for women to become more informed about their health in a comfortable community setting. Any individual medical concerns should still be discussed directly with a GP or appropriate healthcare professional.
This event is part of local community support aimed at making useful health information more accessible to women in Banbury.
The Al-Aqsa Centre in Banbury will host this first drop-in session, providing a familiar and welcoming space where local women can attend, learn, and engage with important health topics.
If you would like to learn more about menopause, blood pressure checks, and women’s health in Banbury, you are welcome to attend on Tuesday, 3 November 2026 at 12:30 PM.
