Fire Marshall Training: Protecting Lives and Property

Fire Marshall Training Event

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members, congregants, and facility users is our absolute highest priority. To maintain a secure environment across all our premises, Banbury Madni Masjid, in close collaboration with Banbury Makkah Masjid and the Umar Education & Welfare Centre, is hosting a dedicated Fire Marshall Training session.

As outlined in our official event flyer, image_f5147e.jpg, this essential training program is designed to equip our key personnel with the critical knowledge and practical skills required to prevent fire hazards and respond effectively in the event of an emergency. By participating in this course, you are taking a vital step toward "Protecting Lives and Property!" within our cherished community spaces.

Comprehensive Fire Safety Curriculum

This focused training session will provide participants with a robust understanding of fire safety protocols and emergency management. The curriculum is tailored to address the specific needs of our facilities and will cover several critical areas:

  • Fire Suppression: Participants will learn the fundamentals of fire behavior, how to identify different classes of fires, and the correct, safe methods for operating various fire extinguishers to suppress small fires before they have the chance to escalate.
  • Rescue Operations: The course will guide attendees through the essential procedures for safely and swiftly evacuating a building. You will learn how to ensure that all occupants—especially the elderly, children, and those with mobility issues—are guided to designated assembly points calmly during a crisis.
  • Fire Safety Training: Beyond immediate emergency response, attendees will receive thorough instruction on daily proactive measures. This includes identifying potential fire hazards, understanding the vital importance of maintaining clear emergency exits, and learning how to conduct routine safety checks to prevent emergencies from occurring in the first place.

Who Should Attend?

This specific training session is highly tailored and explicitly reserved for staff, volunteers, and trustees who actively use, manage, and oversee our services and facilities.

Because of the practical, hands-on, and intensive nature of proper fire safety instruction, we are strictly limiting this session to just 15 spaces. We highly encourage eligible community members who hold responsibilities within our centers to step forward and take on this noble, life-saving role.
