Banbury Madni Masjid warmly invites sisters to join us for a special Ladies Milad gathering in celebration and remembrance of Rabi ul Awwal, a blessed occasion to reflect upon the mercy, love and guidance brought to humanity by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The gathering will provide an opportunity for sisters to come together in a welcoming Islamic environment for Naat, Nasheeds, Dua and beneficial reminders, followed by food.
The event will feature two guest speakers:
Ustadha Saeeda will be joining us from Coventry to share beneficial reminders and reflections for the gathering.
Ustadha Shabana from Banbury will also be joining the programme and contributing to this special Ladies Milad.

The programme offers sisters an opportunity to pause from the demands of everyday life and come together in remembrance, reflection and community.
The arrival of Rabi ul Awwal is a reminder of mercy, love and guidance for all humanity. It is an opportunity to reflect upon the life, character and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and to strengthen our connection with his Sunnah.
As expressed in the Qur'an:
“We have not sent you ˹O Prophet˺ except as a mercy for the whole world.”
The Ladies Milad will provide a warm and welcoming setting for sisters to share this special occasion together, listen to beneficial reminders, participate in Naat and Nasheeds, make Dua and enjoy time within the community.
Rabi ul Awwal is a time to increase our love and appreciation for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and to reflect upon how his beautiful example can guide our lives.
Through gatherings such as this, Banbury Madni Masjid aims to provide opportunities for the local Muslim community to learn, connect and strengthen their faith together.
Sisters from Banbury and the surrounding areas are warmly encouraged to attend and benefit from this special gathering.
