The arrival of Rabi' ul-Awwal is a cherished time for Muslims around the world, providing an opportunity to remember the life, character and mercy of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Banbury Madni Masjid warmly invites the community to take part in the Rabi' ul-Awwal Juloos 2026, a peaceful gathering dedicated to expressing love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ through remembrance, unity and gratitude.
"And We have not sent you (O Muhammad ﷺ) except as a mercy to the worlds." (Surah Al-Anbiya 21:107)
This annual event brings together families, children and members of the wider community to celebrate the noble character and beautiful teachings of the Prophet ﷺ while strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood. Banbury Madni Masjid regularly hosts educational, spiritual and community events throughout the year to help Muslims deepen their understanding and love of Islam.
The Juloos is a respectful community gathering held during the blessed month of Rabi' ul-Awwal to remember the mercy, compassion and noble example of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Participants gather in an atmosphere of peace and dignity, reflecting upon the Prophet's teachings while strengthening community ties through collective remembrance and Islamic fellowship.
The event encourages Muslims of all ages to renew their commitment to following the Sunnah by demonstrating kindness, honesty, generosity and respect in their daily lives.
