Haji Mohammed Suleman - The Visionary
It is with profound respect and gratitude that we commemorate the life and enduring legacy of Haji Mohammed Suleman, one of Banbury's earliest and influential pioneers, who passed away many years ago. Originally from Dhalla, Islamghar, Azad Kashmir,
Haji Mohammed Suleman was instrumental in establishing the foundations of the Muslim community in Banbury, particularly through his tireless efforts in establishing the Masjid on Castle Street.
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala forgive Haji Mohammed Suleman's shortcomings and grant him a high station (maqam) in Jannah. His name will forever be etched in the history of Banbury as a legend, whose vision and dedication paved the way for the vibrant Muslim community we see today. If you have stories or memories of Haji Mohammed Suleman sahibs, please share them in the comments below.
We continue to pray that Allahﷻ Subhanu'wa'ta'alaah has raised Haji Mohammed Suleman saahib's maqam in Jannah, granting him the highest abode. May his good deeds continue to weigh heavily on his scales, and may he be reunited with the righteous.
We humbly request everyone to continue to recite Al-Fatiha and three Surah Ikhlas for the repose of his noble soul whenever he comes to mind.
May his exemplary life remind us all to strive for the same sincerity
and dedication.
Aameen.
