It is with profound respect and enduring love that we reflect on the life and immense contributions of Haji Mohammed Yousaf saahib, a true cornerstone of the Banbury Muslim community. Though he passed away over two decades ago, in the blessed city of Madina Paak, where he now rests in the sacred Jannatul Baqi, his legacy continues to inspire and resonate deeply within our hearts and the very foundations of Banbury Madni Masjid.
Haji Mohammed Yousaf saahib served our Masjid for many years with a devotion that knew no bounds. As a Trustee, he voluntarily dedicated countless hours, not only through generous donations but also by tirelessly collecting funds and working hands-on, ensuring the Masjid flourished. His efforts were a pure testament to his sincere devotion to Allah Subhanu'wa'ta'alaah – a commitment for which we perpetually say Alhumdulillah.
He was, and remains, a genuine "Legend of Banbury". His life was a living embodiment of selfless service, humility, and unwavering faith. The enduring impact of his contributions is etched into the very fabric of our community and the growth of Banbury Madni Masjid. He inspired us all, showing us what it truly means to serve Allah's house with a pure heart and tireless dedication.
We continue to pray that Allah Subhanu'wa'ta'alaah has raised Haji Mohammed Yousaf saahib's maqam in Jannah, granting him the highest abode. May his good deeds continue to weigh heavily on his scales, and may he be reunited with the righteous.
We humbly request everyone to continue to recite Al-Fatiha and three Surah Ikhlas for the repose of his noble soul whenever he comes to mind.
