Banbury Madni Masjid presents an exciting Sisters Horse Riding program designed to fulfill a beautiful Sunnah. This special event on August 13th, 2025, offers our sisters the opportunity to experience the noble tradition of horse riding in a supportive and Islamic environment.
Horse riding in Islam is more than just a physical activity; it's a tradition deeply rooted in Islamic faith's heritage. Beyond its physical benefits, horse riding offers spiritual rewards that enrich the lives of those who partake in this noble activity. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged horse riding as one of the beneficial skills for Muslims to learn.
The session will take place at Silverstone Riding School, starting at 1:00 PM with a comprehensive program that includes 30 minutes of lead training followed by 30 minutes of actual riding. Our experienced instructors will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, regardless of their riding experience level.
Due to limited spaces available, early registration is highly recommended. The program fee is £22 per person. For registration and further information, please contact Sister Yasmin or Ustadha Halema, or visit the Silverstone Riding School website.
