The Sisters Tarbiyah – Islamic Studies event is a welcoming and nurturing gathering designed to support sisters and young girls in their spiritual and personal growth as we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan. Organised by Umar Education & Welfare Centre, this event brings sisters together in an environment of learning, reflection, and community bonding.
Islam places great emphasis on seeking knowledge, and Tarbiyah—spiritual nurturing—is essential in strengthening faith, character, and connection with Allah ﷻ. This session aims to remind sisters that learning is a lifelong duty, growth is a continuous journey, and walking that journey together is a blessing.
This interactive Islamic studies gathering will focus on core reminders, practical guidance, and faith-based reflections suitable for sisters of all ages. The programme is thoughtfully curated to be engaging, uplifting, and easy to follow, ensuring participants leave feeling spiritually motivated and prepared to welcome Ramadan with renewed intention.
The session will be led by Ustadha Shabana, who will share valuable insights tailored specifically for sisters, addressing spiritual development, character building, and the importance of community support.
This gathering is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with Islamic teachings, strengthen sisterhood bonds, and prepare spiritually for Ramadan in a supportive and nurturing environment. Mothers are encouraged to bring their daughters to help instil and nurture strong Islamic values from a young age.
