Islamic Inspiration

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows a seed, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but that it is charity for him." (Sahih al-Bukhari)

This beautiful hadith reminds us of the ongoing rewards of planting and nurturing growth, and serves as the inspiration for our workshop.

About the Workshop

Over four consecutive Fridays in May, children will participate in a hands-on workshop where they will plant seeds, explore nature outdoors, and learn about plants and Allah's creation. This workshop aims to instill in children an appreciation for the natural world and their role as stewards of the environment.

The workshop provides a unique opportunity for children to connect with nature while learning important Islamic principles about caring for the earth. Through practical activities, children will gain hands-on experience in planting and nurturing plants, understanding the growth process, and appreciating the blessings of Allah's creation.

For more information or to register your child for this workshop, please contact Ustadha Haleema or Sister Yasmin-Haji B Bahar.
